Vintage Christmas

Good morning on a another very cold and frosty morning.
This card is an entry for the CES Challenge - Vintage Christmas.
A dark green, A5 size card base is the starting point for for this one. The background is white card which has been distressed around the edges with various colours of Distress ink, using a blending tool. All around the edges has been stamped a lovely Holly branch stamp from Creative Expressions These were then coloured in with ink from distress ink pads. Using a rule and a Versamark Pen, a gold embossing powder border was added all the way around the edge.
The main images (also Creative Expressions stamps by Sam Poole - Christmas Post and Christmas Sleigh Ride) consists of the bird on the branch, Post Card Label and the flourish for the border. These were stamped on white card, coloured with Distress inks and when dry, the edges of the card aged with more Distress ink.
The holly leaf spray is a Sizzix die cut.
To assemble, the main image was matted onto gold mirror card which was then trimmed to size. Green organza ribbon was wrapped around the mirror card and held in place with tape on the back. A bow was manufactured using my Ultimate Pro and bonded in place with Pinflair glue. This was layered onto the background sheet, which, in turn was assembled onto the base card.
The holly spray was added above the bow and the holes cut by the Sizzix die for the berries were filled using a red pearl pen which dries leaving a raised surface.
