Christmas Food

My second post of the day is for the Critter Challenge #41 - Food.
To stay with the Christmas theme and to added another card to my stash for sending out next month, I chose the good old rib-sticking Christmas Pudding, or Plum Duff as it used to be known.
Both of the stamps are from Elusive Images, from their Christmas 2009 collections. They were stamped in Timbre Brown Stazon Ink to give a softer effect than black. The large pudding and sentiment along with a larger gold mirror card mat were cut out using Nestabilities.
The edges of both images were aged with three different colours of Distress ink to give a vintage look to match the main image.
The back ground was created from white card, coloured with various Distress inks, Versamark ink added directly from the pad randomly across the surface and gold embossing powder sprinkled over and heated. Finally I cut a mask from a design created on my Gypsy and cut out with a Cricut machine which I laid along first one edge, and then the other, dabbing through with Distress ink to create a bit of a border.
The large Christmas pudding was matted onto the Gold mirror mat. The main image was also matted onto gold mirror card.
The background was matted directly onto an A5 Gold mirror base card, the main image applied with Pinflair glue, the pudding added with foam pads to give depth and finally two sprays of holly, cut with a Sizzix die were positioned and the red berries created with a Pearl pen.
