Flower Corner Card
Clarity stamps come to the fore on this one. This is a nice delicate card with a lovely sentiment. Three stamps have been used - the floral corner, the sentiment and the circular star burst type one (I can't remember what it was called.
I have worked on a base card A5 in size. All 3 decorated layers have been created on glossy card.
The bottom layer was created with various light colours of glimmer mist splattered onto the surface and allowed to dry.
The middle layer was created using a resist technique. The white glossy card was stamped around the edge using the star burst stamp and Versamark ink. Once dry, this was brayered over using a Big'n'Juicy ink pad to create the colour variation.
For the top layers the floral corner stamp was used 4 times to create the floral motif and the sentiment was centralised underneath. The corner flowers were coloured with Promarkers. The centres were glittered in gold
To assemble, the layers were matted onto the base card with double sided tape. Fine line peel-offs were used on the edges of the lower layer and the base card to add some clear edge lines. A bow was made from ribbon that matched the colour of the flowers and bonded in place with Pinflair glue. Finally gold thread was knotted on the spine to a touch of texture and movement and to match the gold glitter on the flowers.
