A lovely, cheerful card for Christmas.
The stamped image of the snowmen - from Creative Expressions - was stamped onto white card and coloured with Twinkling H2Os. When dry it was cut out using a circular scalloped Nestability and this was mounted on another scalloped circle cut from silver mirror card.
The background was made following a session of using Tattered Angels masks and Glimmer Mists. The mask was covered in liquid so rather than just wash it off I turned it upside down onto a clean piece of card and was left with the impression of the mask in amazing colours. This was trimmed down to the required size and the edges coloured with some distress ink to give a slightly aged look.
The background was layered onto some blue card and a ribbon and bow was wrapped around it before it was secured to the A5 white base card. Faux stitching was added around the blue boarder in a Silver Marvy Metallic pen. Finally the the scalloped image was added using foam pads.

ReplyDeleteHi Shirl, Ive got a surgestion, where you have the names of the challenges, when you are writing your post there is a heading at the top near the photo uploading button, its a "Link" button, if you click on this it will bring up a box you can then paste the blog address in there and it will make it easier for the people making the comments to return to there DT blog.
