Flower Decoupage
I love flowers and and the colours and textures of nature. They all add up to make the world a brighter place.
The frame and flowers stamps were designed by myself which makes it all quite exciting. Should anyone be interested in these stamps, please contact me and I will send you details.
A dark green A6 card base was the starting point. A sheet of navy card was sprayed with a silver mica spray and left to dry. A panel was cut out to suit the card size and the bottom edge ripped to give texture. Dark green ribbon was wrapped round the sprayed card and bonded in position before the panel was attached to the card base.
The frame and central bouquet were stamped on a piece of white card and three more bouquets were stamped separately. These were all coloured using Twinkling H2Os to give a subtle sheen. The separate bouquets were cut out to give elements to use for decoupage.
The frame, the base of the decoupage design, was mounted onto another piece of the dark green card, using double sided tape, and this, in turn, was mounted onto the base A6 card with foam pads. The decoupage was then built up onto the frame to give the finished bouquet of flowers.
