Autumn Tag Card

This is a card for two challenges - "Forever Autumn" for CES Challenge #11 (http://ceschallenges.blogspot.com) and Totally Papercraft Challenge #41 - Tag It (http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.com).

This is an A4 size card with a brown base. The next layer is from a photograph that I took this autumn of masses of various wet leaves on a compost heap! It has been dulled down a bit with Forest Green and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks.

The three tags were coloured with Distress Inks. With the 3 tags carefully aligned the stamped images, both by the wonderful Sheena Douglass, were added in Timber Brown Stazon Ink. Water droplets were splashed around the outside edge, which when moped up with tissue gave some lighter patches of colour in the background inks. A Tattered Angels mask of a branch was applied top and bottom of the tags and sponged over with more Distress Inks. Lengths of autumnal coloured ribbon were added to the ends of the tags using a Tim Holtz Tinny Attacher.

The three flowers used at the end of the tags were made by cutting various layers out on a Cricut Create machine. These were then stamped and coloured with inks, shaped and bonded together to give the completed flowers.

The tags and flowers were bonded into place to give the final look.
